msnbc is reporting today that Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) will announce her retirement from Congress tomorrow. She will be leaving her seat to join the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars as its new president. The Washington think tank has taken its time filling the shoes of Lee Hamilton, who announced he would be retiring from the Wilson Center 9 months ago.
Harman's seat will be filled by a special election.
